UEFA Champions League 2018 Quarter-Final Results Leg 1

It was a great week with surprising results after the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2018 quarter-final closed. With eight powerhouse teams trying to fight for a spot in the semi-final, the second leg is sure to bring more action to the sporting world and Bitcoin soccer odds tables.
Real Madrid vs Juventus
Ronaldo opened the scoring after he intercepted Isco’s cross within the first three minutes of the game. Nonetheless, it was his second goal that provided both sides with electric reactions. A sensational overhead kick left Gianluigi Buffon stunned just after the hour mark.
Meanwhile, adding insult to injury was the sending off of star player Paulo Dybala and Marcelo bagging a third for the La Liga team. Ronaldo almost completed his hat-trick after hitting the crossbar. Juve ended the game unable to capitalize on any of the chances.
This was Juve’s first home European defeat in 28 games, which means they have a steep mountain to climb if they want to make it to the semi-final leg of the UEFA Champions League this year.
Barcelona vs Roma
Barcelona cruised past Roma after a 4-1 victory on their home stadium. This match-up had predictions in favor of the 5-time UEFA Champions League winners. Adding insult to the defeat of Roma were 2 own goals scored one after the other. This huge blow to the chest meant Roma has to score at least 3 goals in order to qualify for the Semi-final.
As a consolation, Edin Dzeko scored a goal in the 80th minute, which might just give them the advantage should they pull off the impossible in the second leg.
Bayern vs Sevilla
This was Sevilla FC’s chance to bring glory to the club. But, with titans Bayern Munich in their wait, it wasn’t going to be an easy task. After passing up a golden opportunity to open the scoreline in the 20th minute, the team made amends just past the half-hour mark and finally put one in the back of the net.
However, Sevilla’s success was short-lived after a cross from Frank Ribery was finished by a sliding Jesus Navas. This gave Bayern the pace and soon enough, they took advantage of it. The middle of the second period saw another Ribery cross. This time, it was headed in by Thiago Alcantara with the help of a deflection. The game ended 2-1 in favor of the German team.
Liverpool vs Manchester City
This week’s stunner was courtesy of The Reds. Jurgen Klopp promised that this would be a night to remember. True enough, he did not disappoint the fans and the Bitcoin sports betting community.
Mohamed Salah fired the game opener in the 12th minute of the game. A slight hesitation from the City defense was all he needed to score. Following the Egyptian’s goal was a rocket shot courtesy of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who hit it 35 yards out. Lastly, closing the first half of the game was a header by Sadio Mane on the 31st minute to make it 3-0. The game ended with the same scoreline after both teams failed to convert opportunities in the second half.
