State Farm Stadium

State Farm Stadium

After the 18-year naming rights agreement of the University of Phoenix Stadium, the Home of the Arizona Cardinals gets a new name: State Farm Stadium. Naming and titles aside, the area has been serving the NFL community since 2006 by featuring the first fully retractable natural grass playing surface on top of an AirField drainage system. An opening on one side of the stadium allows the playing field to move to the exterior of the building, making it possible for the entire stadium to be exposed to daylight.

As a home venue for the Cardinals, the State Farm Stadium hosted two Super Bowls in history: the 2008 Super Bowl XLII and the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX. In 2023, it was again chosen by the organizers to host the Super Bowl LVII. Annually, the stadium host the Fiesta Bowl, an American college football bowl game. Other sports are also in attendance such as the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, WWE, and concerts.
