Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park possesses one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League as it is located suburb of Selhurst in Borough Croydon, an area in London that’s always cloudy. The current layout of the venue features the Holmesdale Road, Arthur Wait, Whitehorse Lane, and Main stands. But a project for future redevelopment is currently on-going, and it will feature a stunning new five-story stand with an all-glass front.

The stadium is home to Crystal Palace Football Club of the Premier League. The highest record attendance in the venue was achieved in 1979 when Crystal Palace defeated Burnley F.C. 2–0 to win the Football League Second Division championship title. Another historical moment that has happened in its very ground was when the first Chinese footballers set foot to play in England Football—Sun Jihai and Fan Zhiyi.
