Raymond James Stadium

Raymond James Stadium

Simply known by its nickname “Ray Jay”, the Raymond James Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Tampa, Florida. One of the most recognizable features of the stadium is a 103-foot (31 m), 43-ton steel-and-concrete replica pirate ship in the north end zone. Every time the home team Tampa Bay Buccaneers scores a point against its opponents, surpassed the other team’s red zone, or win a home game, the cannons on the ship are fired off.

The stadium welcomes all events concerning football, from the Super Bowls XXXV and XLIII to the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship. Aside from the Buccaneers, other league residing in the James Stadium are the NCAA’s South Florida Bulls football team and the Tampa Bay Mutiny of Major League Soccer.
