Oracle Arena

Oracle Arena is an indoor arena situated in Oakland, California, United States, and is the home of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. The arena opened its doors to the public in 1966 and is the oldest arena in the NBA. It was known as the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena since its birth until 1996. After a grand overhaul which was completed in 1997, the arena was renamed to The Arena in Oakland. This lasted until 2005 and was then changed to Oakland Arena from 2005 to 2006.

The venue is often referred to as the Oakland Coliseum Arena and is located next to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. Other than serving basketball fans, the Oracle Arena also hosts hockey games and can seat 17,200 people.
