Opel Arena

Often referred to as the 1.FSV Mainz 05 Arena, the Opel Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate—an area in Germany known for its oceanic climate. It opened in July 2011 and started offering venues for football matches. It’s one of the Bundesliga stadiums with the most modern and unique themes. It features very distinctive red archways and exterior. Internally, it was constructed with four steep one-tier stands and open corners with a view of the city and its surrounding areas.

The Opel Arena does not only serve as a venue for the home matches of its home team FSV Mainz, but also as an event venue and the new figurehead of the city of Mainz. Its event services include catering, event equipment, tent rentals, lounge furniture, weddings, and birthdays.
