NRG Stadium

NRG Stadium is part of a series of venues (including the Astrodome) under the collection of NRG Park. It’s Houston’s top trade show, convention, sports, and entertainment complex. It was also the first facility in the NFL to have a retractable roof utilizing the principles of Kinetic architecture. The roof mechanization consists of two large panels that split apart at the 50-yard line, lying over and above each end zone when fully retracted. Inside the venue, the second largest video screens (14,549 square feet of screen) in the world sits atop the audience’s perspective.
The stadium is the home of the NFL’s Houston Texans, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Texas Bowl, the Monster Jam, and several of the United States men’s national soccer teams. It has hosted 2 Super Bowls: XXXVIII and LI, which were both won by the New England Patriots.
