Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Often referred to as the Superdome, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome shouldn’t be confused with Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Superdome is a ports and exhibition venue located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. Most notably, the Superdome is made of a lamellar multi-ringed frame and has a diameter of 680 feet (210 m), making it the largest fixed domed structure in the world with a modern architectural design.
Primarily, the Superdome serves as the home venue for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL and the Sugar Bowl competition for the New Orleans Bowl in college football. And it hosts several local sports events like the College Football Championship Game and the Final Four College Basketball. Because of this lineup of notable competitions, the Superdome has developed a reputation for having a very strong home field advantage.
