Hard Rock Stadium

Hard Rock Stadium

The Hard Rock Stadium holds the position as one of the most popular NFL stadiums in the world, having its name rights bought by the Hard Rock Cafe Inc.after going by several monikers like Pro Player Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, and Land Shark Stadium. As the home team of the Miami Dolphins and with the continuous positive reception from fans and organizers alike, the stadium already hosted 5 Super Bowl seasons (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI, and XLIV) and will host Super Bowl LIV in 2020.

If the Dolphins have no NFL events to date, the stadium is open for the NCAA, Orange Bowl games, WrestleMania, Baseball National League Division series, Hoop-It-Up Basketball games, and MLB events. It was actually built as a football stadium that could convert into a baseball stadium. Most of the seats in the baseball configuration were pointed toward center field – where the 50-yard line would have been in the football configuration.
