Head Coach: Vance Joseph
The Denver Broncos is an NFL team based in Denver, Colorado, and competes as a member club of the NFL’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. They started play in 1960 as a member of the former American Football League (AFL) and then joined the NFL right after the 1970 merger. The Broncos play home games at the Broncos Stadium at Mile High but played at Mile High Stadium between 1960 to 2000.
The Broncos hardly challenged opponents during their time in the AFL and their early years in the NFL. In 1977, they qualified for the playoffs for the first time in history and attended the Super Bowl XII. Since then, the Broncos have become one of the most successful teams in the league, which includes eight AFC Championships, and three Super Bowl championships. But despite the success, the Broncos also share the NFL record for most Super Bowl losses at five with the Patriots.
