Head Coach: John Harbaugh
The Baltimore Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member of club of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The team is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and plays home games at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens were introduced in 1996, after announcing plans to relocate the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore. However, as part of the deal between the league and Cleveland, then-owner of the Browns, Art Modell, was required to leave behind Browns’ history and records in Cleveland for a replacement team. In exchange, he was permitted to take his own crew and team to Baltimore, where an expansion team would eventually form.
The history of the Ravens include 10 qualifications for the NFL playoffs, two Super Bowl victories-Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLVII), two AFC Championship titles, 15 playoff victories, four AFC Championship game appearances, four AFC North division titles, and are current record holders of the only team in the NFL to have perfect attendance in multiple Super Bowl and Thanksgiving Day events.
