Head Coach: Doc Rivers
The Los Angeles Clippers, or La Clippers, are a Los Angeles-based team and compete in the NBA as a member of the Western Conference Pacific Division. The Clippers share the Staples Center with the Los Angeles Lakers as well as the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL.
Initially established as the Buffalo Braves in 1970 and part of three expansion teams to join the NBA that year, the team relocated from Buffalo, New York to San Diego, California in 1978 and became known as the San Diego Clippers. In 1984, the team once again moved, this time to Los Angeles.
Throughout history, the franchise has failed to take part in significant success until the early 2010s with the arrival of core players Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan. In 2013, the Clippers won its first division title, as the team made its ninth appearance in the playoffs.
