Sevilla Fútbol Club, or Sevilla, is a club based in Seville, the capital and largest city of Andalusia, Sevilla FC is currently one of the 20 teams in the La Liga. The club was formed on January 1980, making it the oldest football club in Spain. Years later, on October 1905, the club’s articles of association were registered in the Civil Government of Seville under the presidency of José Luis Gallegos Arnosa.
Sevilla is also the most successful club in Andalusia, with one national league title, five Spanish Cup titles, one Spanish Super Cup title, a record five UEFA Cups/UEFA Europa League titles, and the 2006 UEFA Super Cup.
The club’s home ground is the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, located in the area of Nervión. Players sport white home kits with red accents, red away kits, and black and grey third kits. Sevilla FC’s main rivals are Real Betis, and matches between the two clubs are referred to as the Seville derby.
