Coach: Janne Andersson
Sweden is responsible for the absence of Italy in the 2018 FIFA World Cup after a narrow win against the 2006 champions during the qualifiers. Even though Sweden’s iconic forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, failed to come out of international football retirement, Sweden powered through and clinched a spot in the 2018 World Cup.
