Coach: Juan Carlos Osorio
Mexico is a familiar sighting in the World Cup and also the first team from The North, Central America to qualify. But, the last six World Cups saw Mexico call out of the round of 16 each time. Mexico inspired many four years ago in Brazil after they advanced to the knockout stage ahead of Croatia and Cameroon. Their campaign ended after the Netherlands beat them 2-1 just before the quarter-finals. Mexico are looking to break the spell this in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and aims to improve their finish.
