2017 MLB World Series Game 1 And 2 Recap

A Recap Of The 2017 MLB World Series Games 1 And 2

What a World Series we have. Baseball isn’t quite as boring as you think. With the series tied at 1-1, both the Dodgers and Astros adjust as they make their way to Houston for Game 3 of the World Series. This is a rundown of everything you need to about the first 2 games of the MLB World Series, complete with Bitcoin sports betting odds.

The Dodgers are still favored to win the MLB Championship with -165 odds, but the Astros aren’t letting it stop them with +145 odds tagging along. The great thing about baseball betting is that it isn’t like the NBA where even before the season starts, it’s easy to predict which teams will meet in the Finals on June. In fact, MLB shows the opposite where the season and playoffs are completely unpredictable. Anything can happen here. For example, during the 2014 World Series, both the Royals and Giants made the finals as wild-card teams. Obviously, we’re saying goodbye to last year’s champions–the Cubs–as they were ousted by the Dodgers.

Game 1

With Clayton Kershaw at his ace pitching, the Dodgers rode it to victory with a 3-1 score controlled by the Dodgers throughout. Kershaw proved his naysayers as post-season struggles now fades away. The ace pitcher looked like the best in the world with a stat line of allowing only a run on three hits while allowing no walks to and in seven innings, Kershaw was able to strike out 11 times. We’re going to see the classic Kershaw once again throughout this World Series. Defensively, the Dodgers were able to hold off a top-offensive Astros team. Their opportunities to score were so limited that they only scored in the 4th inning. It’s LA’s home court and they take the win in this game.

Game 2

In what seems like a Dodger’s win again, right on top of the 8th inning, as the Astros were down 1 point and refusing to lose, rallying again to score six runs from this inning. The game went to extra-innings and won with a 7-6 total score after 11 innings over the Dodgers. The wild game didn’t want to end with clutch homers after a home run from both teams. But, the Astros’ late rally was just too much for the Dodgers.

Game 3 Predictions

Bitcoin sportsbooks predict the MLB World Series game 3 to be another nail-biting close game with a 1.5 point spread differential. The Astros are the favorites to win this game with a (-132) odds. However, it looks to be a close game with the Dodgers having a (+117) odds to win the game.
